According to Ayurveda, cleaning the tongue every morning is an important part of the daily oral hygiene routine, along with regular brushing and flossing.
Undigested food particles that remain on the tongue—usually manifesting as a thick, white layer—can prevent the tongue from fully experiencing the flavors. This coating can also cause unwanted toxicity within the body, bad breath and poor oral hygiene.
Gently shaving your tongue with a tongue cleanser can effectively reduce bacteria in your mouth that cause bad breath.
Our scrapers are 100% made of copper and exclusively using a manual process.
We also advise you to gently take care of your
scraper.

Instructions for use
Scrape your tongue shortly after waking up, before drinking water and brushing your teeth, with movements that should be gentle like a light massage on your tongue. Hold your scraper at the base, close to the stones, gently, so as not to damage the shape of the copper with the force of your scraping. Work the scraper from the bottom of the tongue forward, 7 to 14 times. Rinse the scraper after each round and dry it with a clean cloth or paper at the end. Then brush your teeth and floss. It is essential that you wash it, whenever necessary, with neutral soap and the aid of a brush, gently cleaning between the middle of the stones to remove unwanted impurities.
Observation:
Over time, changes in the natural color of copper may appear, which is perfectly normal due to exposure to oxygen. To polish copper, use a combination of equal parts salt and vinegar or lemon. Mix until it forms a consistent paste. With a cloth or cotton, rub this mixture gently on the copper until it is shiny. You can also reuse an old toothbrush for the toughest corners. The scraper alloys are 100% Brazilian copper which has a natural bactericidal, fungicidal, antimicrobial and antiviral action. Our scrapers are handcrafted and made with a lot of love, preserving all the natural functions of the stone, so they are always available in limited editions.
